“Newt left the kitchen light on for no reason.”

“Newt wore stripes with plaid.”

“Newt loves cats/dogs, but sharply declined a horseback ride in 1968.”

“Newt slept thru THE GOONIES; probably hates children.”

Are you a Santorum supporter?

If so, you are making Santorum supporters look shrill.

Just saying.

“Then one by one, they turned their guns on and did the same thing to Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann, Cain and Santorum driving their support numbers down and Perry, Cain and Bachmann completely out of the race. As each one took their successive turns as our leading non-Romney conservative, they were relentlessly attacked, trashed and driven out.

Looked like we were repeating 2008 and were going to be stuck with a sure loser RINO again and Obama would waltz in for a second destructive term. We’re now running out of qualified conservative candidates and I’ll be damned if I’m going to allow Free Republic to be used to drive out our last remaining best conservative shot of defeating both Romney and Obama!! “

That’s from the boss. Take your Newt/class warfare complaints up with him.

Do you dispute that these stories exist outside of Drudge?

Understood. I think Jim’s aware that when this squabble (the primary) is over we’re all going to be continuing the good fight.

Okay, I understand your anger. And by that logic Reagan would have been banned from the conservative leadership he assumed because he wasn’t there from the beginning.

Sorry, but you have been outed this morning with your Drudge apologies. You have told nothing but lies all morning, and it’s obvious you have an agenda here, other than simply your opinions. I see a zot in your near future. Good riddance.

And will those banned be brought back?

His ‘concerns’ span a number of Newt threads today. I wonder why?

Drudge smokes pole, that explains why he loves mittens. The Repubs that go along with this are disgusting and should just go ahead and vote for Obama.

"The LSM is very good at cowing these people."

It's called sheep herding. Some of the herders do it in a little black dress while secretly living with leftists.

Some of them do it on the 8Pm news, acting mostly conservative in order to get ratings, but when the time is just right they support the left position and call it "balanced' so you don't catch the game being played. I call the later, the O'illy factor.

I could go on..but Ann Coulter and O'Reilly are the two players who come to mind.

Yes. Clearly all conservatives who do not agree with you are clueless and not thinking for themselves. /s

What a waste of time wailing about how those with whom you disagree would actually agree with you if they were thinking for themselves and not mind-numbed robots.

Newt isn’t perfect but he’s better than Romney. Dwelling on Newts problems will only help Romney and hurt America.

It became very obvious this morning. They are not very skilled in the art of 'not overdoing it'.

[Also, if you have stories that knock down Romney, PLEASE submit them to Drudge. If enough people do that, he will link to them.]

i have, he doesn’t run them. Just as he doesn’t run the vid of Nancy Reagan saying she Reagan handed the conservative torch to Newt. Did you notice how he quit reporting the polls in FL and nationally when Newt jumped out in front?

I am so done with Drudge and Ann Coulter.

Or is that just a figment of my imagination?

Yep.

To test this, honestly ask yourself whether you would claim conservatives were "being led by the nose" is the so-called GOP establishment and "elites" were supporting Newt Gingrich.

I expect then you would find that these people you now insult as idiots who cannot think for themselves -- based solely on the fact that they do not agree with you -- are actually enlightened, courageous, intelligent human beings.

It is more than a little jarring to hear George Soros say that there is very little difference between Obama and Romney, and then contrast that with Gingrich and Santorum.

Why is it that he can see that, and the conservative grassroots can see that, but the GOP elite supposedly can’t?
