Actually, I think Steyn is right on the money as a RINO.Reasonable people can disagree.
I fail to see it, and I have read most (not all) of his articles over the last several years.
I have yet to meet (metaphorically speaking) a politician or commentator with whom I agree 100% of the time.
Steyn?
A RINO?
Absurd misapplication of a disgraced label.

Go back and read some of the threads from just a couple of months ago, even a month ago. A lot of people here hated Gingrich, hated his stand on immigration, said he was a progressive and a liberal and a RINO. He sat with Nancy Pelosi, etc. Now, he is the only true conservative and Republican in the race.Yep. The very definition of "turn on a dime."

One trick pony Christie soon to realize that the Tea Party can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

And what is it? A joke? These Newtbots are really sickening. He may be our best option at this point, but he’s still not very good.

"Megyn Kelly"I'm not sure about that one yet.

“Absurd misapplication of a disgraced label.”
I’d suggest listening to him on the radio, I’ve read his books.
He is as conservative as Coulter is. When the SHTF....they tweak out and go all wobbly moderate.
If you don’t get RINO, I suppose I can’t help you. That sounds like a moderate Romney theme to me.

Gov. Christie: Gingrich Has Been An Embarrassment To The PartyThe word of anyone who has only been on the "national scene" such a short time doesn't carry much weight...oh, wait a minute.

And what is it? A joke? These Newtbots are really sickening. He may be our best option at this point, but hes still not very good. The least bad is still a choice; a rational one. The alternative is armed conflict.
Sure beats the irrational, cowardly remaining choice : the "Ostrich" option. Do nothing.

People are rallying around the one who seems to best articulate conservatism.
That's what's going on.

Gleefully placing on a pedestal the least bad is pathological.

Still Steyn makes agreeable remarks with talker Hugh Hewitt when on his show. Hewitt show has become a cheer leading event almost daily to promote Mitt. (and to promote Hewitt’s book on Romney from the last presidential election cycle)
