That was my point. When an eyewitness to a heinous crime comes to you to ask for advice, you call the police first and the university administration later. You don’t hand it off to a bureaucrat and expect them to “handle” it. Because that usually means sweeping it under the rug, which is exactly what they did.

The thread wasn’t about the victims. Start a thread about the victims and I will comment on it and pray for them as I do daily.

Or start a thread about Sandusky, you know, the man who actually committed the crimes against the child victims. But that’s too easy because Sandusky is not the focus of the media or of some posters. It’s easy to blame who the media is focusing on.

Don’t put words in my mouth. I said Paterno was “complicit” and as guilty as the rest. You apparently hold the man as a saint and idolize him.If I’d been Paterno, Sandusky would have not only been fired (which he wasn’t) he would have been in jail a long time ago(which he isn’t now)

We disagree. I don’t hold Paterno as guilty as Sandusky. Sandusky committed the heinous acts/crimes. The focus isn’t on him or the network of secrecy that allowed him to continue to commit those crimes. Paterno is way down on my list as to those who should be held responsible or considered complicit for Sandusky’s crimes.
