I'd prefer to see him convicted of fraud, followed by his forced return to his native country.
Refuse.
Just don’t.
Yeah, the Jim Wallis types.
You raise a good point. I didn’t even really think about that part, and it really isn’t the government’s job.
It is one of those moments where we need to cling to that religion and if the courts won’t uphold the Constitution then shut-r-down with a big sign on the door explaining why. Let Great Leader reap the giant shrug he so greatly deserves.
Doesn’t this violate their First Amendment Rights?
Never understood where in the Constitution this is any of the governments business.
It's an easy trap to fall into given the current state of government involvement in society.
Sure did. I think I’m gonna vote my faith, because apparently my faith is being attacked by leftist scum.
Vote for the only one who’s gonna stick up for religious freedom, because he’s the only one who cares for it - Santorum.
Yeah, but if folks are attacking our faith, then we have an obligation to tell the state to shove it.
The recent Hosanna-Tabor decision is a positive sign for religious freedom. This case may be narrower.
Me too. Though I doubt any genuine Christians voted for him. I understand that a good number that refer to themselves as “Christian” did. I also believe that they are still satisifed, proud, and happy with their messiah, a/k/a B.O.
This is what you get with a one-size-fits-all central government that decides what will be covered and what will not be covered.
Yes, we will cover all your sexual assistance drugs and devices, but to pay for it, we will not provide dialysis for anyone over the age of 60.
VIagra makes something work that is supposed to work. Contraception prevents something from working that should be working.
Fed’s don’t control State Insurance Boards anyway.
Fed’s don’t really have the authority to impose this.
He's going to have to be evicted and I would vote for the ride out of town to be on a rail.
According to the article, "houses of worship and other religious nonprofits that primarily employ and serve people of the same faith will be exempt."
If that's the case, as long as a religious organization is allowed (by our all-caring, all-powerful nanny state) to primarily employ and serve only people of the same faith, it will be allowed to decide to not provide contraception (until the nanny state rules otherwise, of course).
“So free contraception is some sort of right...” Is Viagra still covered by most health plans??
I have never been able to understand why all contraception, including barrier kinds like condoms and the cervical cap are being opposed by conservatives. It’s not like caring for the children of the poor with tax money is a high priority in conservative circles. Also opposition to sex education is high on the list although a recent study indicates that ignorance about sex is the case in 1/2 of teen pregnancies. Does this inconsistancy exist because conservatives don’t know how to think, or because conservatives want to control the knowledge and lives of women??
God is not a Republican. But Satan is definitely a Democrat.
I love that saying! I think I’ll steal that for my signature!
