Newt is the latest flavor of the week, but he doesnt have the money to compete against the boy-god. Not even close. Even Romney doesnt have enough money. He will shortly...have the money that is. Who's going to have more? Santorum?
I think the conservatives have been waiting for the race to settle out...I was a Perry leaner, now he's out. Santorum is a nice man, but is not going to be POTUS...hell, I doubt he can bring PA to the Republican table.
Just max donated to Newt tonight....I encourage others to do so also.

but in the long term will be an issue with women and will be his downfall if he gets the nomination. I've found that women can be much tougher on other women than they are on men.

Bravo, Newt.
I hope this proves to be the defining moment of the election.

Well, I’m voting for Newt. For all of his flaws, he’s a fighter and remains the smartest man on the stage.
He may not be perfect, but he’s the best choice. NEWT 2012!

At this point, I think Newt is the ONLY candidate remaining who can take Obama to the woodshed in debates. Big time. Can’t imagine Romney doing it or Santorum.

Romney was right , anyone on that stage would be a better President than Princess O.
With the exception of Romney, of course.
Romney, if he were elected, would do the same thing he did in Massachusetts, destroy the GOP, at a national level.
He would compromise on core conservative issues, because he ain't a conservative, and our weak-spined GOP congress would go right along with him just as they did with GWB.

I think Newt will face it head on just as he did tonight.

I would love to see him debating obammy..... I have made this statement before: and I would like to beat Obama with a piece of re-bar too, but the Secret Service isn't going to let me do that. In the same vein, were Newt to be the GOP nominee, in a debate, the media isn't going to let Newt get anywhere near giving Obama a beating like that.
I understand wishful thinking, and it sure would be fun, but realty must intrude and none of what I have described will ever happen.

Newt: “I am tired of the elite media protecting Barak Obama by attacking Republicans.
One of the best lines of the debate. So good to get Obama in that statement.

CNN after the debate talking head pundits were super defensive. They talked on and on about Gingrich's response.
Two or three of the women CNN lib pundits stated, "But it's a losing issue for the Repubs if Newt becomes the pres. nominee". They think it won't go over with women. What they are saying that any derogatory accusation by any women, whether it is from a former girlfriend or ex-wife, that women will always be believed or they don't care it is not true, and it's an emotional issue to them regardless of truth or proof.
Funny, we don't ever see this happen to Democrat politicos. /sarc
If so, that their premise is correct... does support Ann Coulter's argument about repealing the 19th Amendment. Looking out for flying objects. ;-)
