Then why do you come in to defend his zany idea of zero percent income tax? I want it as low as possible, but revenue for the federal government has to be raised somehow. Unless you put in a consumption tax, it's not possible to go to zero percent income tax. Unless you live in Ron Paul's 19th century world.

Because a zero percent income tax is not a zany idea. RoPaul’s foreign policy on the other hand, is crazy and dangerous. For the record, I am a supporter of the FairTax, but even that will be way too high unless spending is brought under control. And on that issue, I do support RoPaul’ ideas because I think he would cut more than anyone else is talking about. But his foreign policy is too dangerous to overlook, so I’ll pass.
