Agree. But, I don’t think they (left, and sadly, the GOP) can throw much propaganda (about this) that Newt can’t handle to his advantage.

“Yes. I think it will.”
I also suspect that James Dobson will endorse him or Santorum. He likes them both. From a social conservative point of view, a Gingrich/Santorum ticket would be good.

That said, the fact that LaHaye has been critical of Catholicism, and is endorsing a prominent Catholic convert, is profound to me. Both with regard to LaHaye, and to a prominent evangelicals encouragement to other evangelicals to vote for Newt, despite the present denominational difference and the past marital infidelities.
Romney is Mormon, and an absolute fake. There's no way he'd recommend him. Perry is evangelical, so I'm surprised that wasn't his endorsement. It really doesn't matter either way, since outside of rabid fans of his books the man has no real political clout. Still, spots count, and I'm glad he picked Gingrich.

Thanks for your quick reply. I had not heard of this organization and I am a Christian conservative. Where have I been? Oh well, I learned something new today and that’s a good thing.

Before Clinton broke them, NOW dominated all media as representing all women, but it actually was a small organization who simply gave the same number of 250,000 members for year after year whenever asked, with no proof.
The ‘invisible to the media’ CWA had about 750,000 members at the time, but had to fight for every little piece of a voice within the media.

(Romney is unquestionably the weakest party front-runner in contemporary political history.)
