Well, alcohol was very much mainstream before it was made illegal. Marijuana was made illegal by certain states more than a hundred years ago and was illegal in most states by 1930. It never developed into a mainstream activity, thus those who smoke it are commonly those who function outside of societal norms. Many of such individuals could be viewed as loonies such as the flower children of the 60s.

Your conclusion doesn't follow from your premise. Spelunking is not a mainstream activity, but I know of no reason to think spelunkers commonly function outside of societal norms.

But hemp was still being grown as a commodity crop, so the federal government didn't make anything illegal that wasn't already illegal, they just put the hemp farmers out of business.

They look like vegetarians. Wonder what makes them think Paul opposes horse eating. At the very least that's a state issue. My guess Paul figures you can eat whatever you want.

In 08, didn't they have a 2 for 1 sale or something for paulistinians? Wish I'd saved all the thread links.

Better pic, and I'm right, the do have a sale. Wonder if that's a political contribution, and who is contributing what to who.

While most endorsements only benefit the candidate, Hof tells me this one comes with a special deal. During the month of January, he said, the ranch is offering two bunnies for the price of one. All you have to do is come in and say: “I”m pimping for Paul.”
