I don’t see where the woman did anything wrong here. The bad guy had already hit her son AND shot him. I would have done the same thing if someone hurt my boy (or my girls for that matter).
Why the hell would she be arrested?
The sentence should read "Them mother was given a medal"
One shot - one kill. Mama did all right.
Mom’s really are special people; they really aim to do their best for their children.
“Why the hell would she be arrested?”
Because slaves are supposed to sit there and take it. They’ve trained the general population to do nothing in response to anything unless the “officials” are called. And people marvel when some guy is lying face down in the street and does nothing but walk over them.
How dare this gun nut try and protect her family? she should have cowered in her home while the robber got away! liberals unite!
This is all over the news locally.Glad she was able to save her son’s life.
Why would she be arrested? This is Philadelphia
Nice shooting Mom, I suppose there is a great shock involved when you fire a gun at someone. The realisation that you have just actually shot someone, the noise, it all comes at once. It is a traumatic event in your life.I don’t know what I would do in such a case myself, but firing a couple of more shots just to make sure comes to mind.
I love the picture! The only issue that worries me for this woman is “police are interviewing her” and she surrendered her gun. IMHO, I would state “I was in fear for my life and my son’s life, I want a lawyer and my gun back”.
I love happy endings.
Agreed...her only duty was to go back into her apartment and gather up all the valuables for immediate redistribution.
“...made the mistake of trying to rob a man who had a pistol packin mama nearby, police say.”
I highly doubt the police refered to her as a “pistol packin mama” That term is reserved for the liberal media. A rather annoying term at that!
Why the hell would she be arrested?

One possibility is that she might be arrested because the interview showed that her story didn't hold up. The survivors all have a relationship to each other and an interest in an outcome that holds them blameless. The only one we know of who might have an alternative story didn't survive.
Philly is treated differently than all other places in PA in the PA Constitution.....it is called a city of the first class.
If only the writers of that could see it today.
"Legally registered gun?" LOL. Has Pennsylvania really fallen that far, or is this just the usual anti-gun liberal propaganda being injected into the article? Do you really need to have "paperwork" in order to legally possess a handgun at your own home in PA?
