Yep, sure seems that way.
It makes the battle to get the damned US Federal Government back on the right track a lot simpler, because being on our own means that we do not have to “go along to get along, ANYMORE!”
There is another way for a group of us to be successful, and that is to refrain from becoming a political party where caving-in is rule number one.
As a separate group with a few, very clear principles, we become a much sought after voter block.
The Black population in America is about 12 %, and just look at how much their block of votes is sought during election time.
The TEA Party is partially successful because it uses the above model. It has some Republicans who claim that “some of my best friends are TEA Party members.” When the Democrat politicians start saying that is when Obamanation will begin to dissolve into the gutter of History.

Would it be accurate to say then, that the US Federal Government operated at a 42 % loss last fiscal year?
Would it also be accurate to say that the US Federal Government has a negative 42 % net profit margin for the last fiscal year?

This thread attacked the incompetence of our leaders, and the Entitlement Plantation mentality currently pervasive in this once Mighty Nation. The latter is more important than the former, imhbAco.

They ARE defunding SS. Our system is currently putting out more in SS payments than it is taking in. The payroll tax cut dropped the SS’s only revenue stream. And as you can see, they admitted that their first bill was defunding the current system at a faster pace that they created another SS revenue stream with this bill.
