As long as conservatives splinter their support among the other candidates, Romney will prevail.
The only way he won’t is if conservatives could or would unite behind one of the other candidates, but it’s appearing that’s not going to happen.
If Romney takes Iowa, maybe that will be a wake up call, but I doubt it. I’ve read too many comments to the effect of “it’s my candidate or the highway”.

Yet another reason to hate Romney. George H W Bush did everything he could as president to destory the conservative wing of the GOP.
