For one thing, desire and lust are borne in the heart. It’s not the conclusion of the action that’s the sin, but the entertaining and internalizing the temptation. That’s why Jesus taught that lusting after a woman = adultery, and hating another = murder. It’s simply a matter of degree and self-control.
The other thing is, if God somehow emasculated or castrated those whom He knew would be homosexual to prevent it, then we wouldn’t know what homosexuality was. Then we’d just be looking at a whole group of people whom God for some reason denied what we’d consider the normal desires and privileges of life to.
Then the anti-God crowd would rail on about what a meanie God is for inexplicably denying to some people what He granted to others.
It’s a lose/lose situation for God in some people’s eyes. For some people, He can just do nothing right.
God created them as normal human beings with normal desire and function. He granted them free will. It is not His responsibility what they do with the gifts He gave them. If they are intent on misusing them, they will. There will be consequences and nobody can claim ignorance because we have all been informed of the consequences. The choice is ours.
