Ron is a fraud as well .
This so called small gov’t guy is the earmark king if congress !
He was one if four GOP reps to refuse to sign the
Ban on earmarks ,
In 2009 , Ronny requested 134,000,000 in earmarks !
On top of all that Code Pink fundraiser for him !

This one's a recent one that struck me, Naturally he was on FNC Special Report one night and couldnt even explain it.

I think this fence business is designed and may well be used against us and keep us in. In economic turmoil, the people want to leave with their capital and there’s capital controls and there’s people controls. Every time you think about the fence, think about the fences being used against us, keeping us in.

I can understand that there are difficulties in building a border-long fence but this is just crack-pot stuff.

These aren’t as bad as I thought. If this is the worst he has said, and the media go after this, they won’t get very far. OTOH, we don’t really know what he will say next.

Earmarks have gotten a bad rap. Earmarks, per se, are congress telling the Administratration how to spend money appropriated by congress, and is within their Consitutional authority. It’s what was earmarked that exceeded their authority.

ron is no more a fraud than any of the other candidates, maybe a little less so.

He is the Ernest T. Bass of the Republican Party. Nothing but a little pest that just won’t get the message and go away.

You thinking about fleeing to Mexico?

Paul was mixing up what the government is doing with financial/credit controls and a border fence to slow down the invasion. The only place Americans are fleeing to Mexico is in that Global Warming movie adventure 'The Day after tomorrow"

Yeah, some of those quotes are actually pretty good. Some of the others though...

While the drug related violence in Mexico has caused a recent reversal, there are hundreds of thousands of Americans, mostly retired, who moved to that country for the lower cost of living. It is less expensive to retire there than it is to Arizona or Florida.

“He is the Ernest T. Bass of the Republican Party.”

LOL! Only difference is that ETB made more sense more often than Paul. I can’t understand where the rabid Pauliacs are coming from.

When he’s good, he’s very very good; when he’s wrong, he needs a straight jacket, pure and simple.

I guarantee you that if Ron Paul wins Iowa, the RNC, GOP Elitists, Tea Party Patriots and other Conservatives will close ranks post-haste to stop this mad man. Just hide and watch.

Many folks are somewhat nervous over the fact that Ron Paul has not ruled out a Third Party run for the White House if he loses the GOP nomination. Well, I’m finding out, more and more, that he has a lot of DemocRAT support. Mostly from the anti-war left. Those votes would go to Obozo. So, it’s not the end of the world if Paul-dude does run as a Third Party Candidate.

And probably relieves the bankrupt but popular medicare (possibly medicaid) of some costs to the national debt. I don't see a Mexican border fence keeping American senior citizens trapped in this county anytime in the future.

This was just one of Paul's crazy statements that I would also be critical of another candidate for.

“I can’t understand where the rabid Pauliacs are coming from.”

I can. During the 2008 election I drove through the most leftist, anti-war, dope smoking, anarchist infested area of Seattle on the way to a Husky game. Who’s campaign signs were on every patch of grass? Who’s bumper stickers were on more cars than any other? Surprisingly it was not Obama of Hillary, but Ron Paul. He has a real appeal to these people, and the larger portion of his followers are more akin to the Larouche nuts from the far far left than they are to any group on the right. Take away this group of Paulbots and what you have left are a small amount of hard core Libertarians.

Two more Ron Paul quotes:

“Hey you damned kids! Get off of my lawn!!!!” and

“I would have gotten away with too if it weren’t for those meddling Tea Partiers!”

I am in violent agreement with number five on Abe Lincoln, (Civil War was the least good way to end slavery.) but no politician can ever survive saying that in America today.

Sometimes Ron Paul borders on genius, sometimes he borders on insanity.

Too often he crosses the border.
