OH and lest we forget the 418 bills sponsored with Pelosi... can someone find out what those bills were? I mean I can see a few things we might agree upon with Dems (like auditing the criminals at the Fed) but 418 bills? Come on guys I don’t have the time.
Jim's opinion means about as much to me as my plumber's. I think they both provide a good service but that doesn't mean I think they're always right about politics. Jim has has a tendency to sometimes let his personal feelings about candidates cloud his judgment, especially if he's now embracing Newt as some sort of great conservative hope.
The chances than anyone besides Romney or Gingrich will get the nomination seem to me to be nil.
So, who is the conservative in that group of two? Pretty obvious to me that it is not a former governor of MA. I think that is basically Jim Robinson’s calculation and mine as well. Despite all of this “progressive Newt” nonsense, Gingrich is a solid conservative in the areas that really count right now.
