I'm a New England Patriots fan, being that I'm from New England and all. However, I am actually going to root for Tim Tebow this weekend. It will be a strange feeling, rooting against New England. In fact, I would not mind seeing Tebow win the next 100 games in a row - just to silence his critics. Being that the average NFL season for a Super Bowl bound team is 19 games, this would mean five consecutive Super Bowl wins.

What I'd really like to see is for Denver to fall behind 55-0 in the first half, only to see Tebow and the Bronco run off 56 consecutive points in the second half to win 56-55. Now that would be an awesome game to see and worthy of being saved to my DVR.

In his 63 yard field goal, Tom Dempsey was standing around 1 foot below sea level.

In NOLA...but Tom Dempsey doesn't kick for Denver.

IIRC, Dempsey had a handicapped foot.

Yes, Tom Dempsey has been retired for quite some time and does not play for Denver.

However, the Broncos have a kicker who can kick field goals of 59 and 51 yards does help the current Bronco QB who can only complete 48% of his passes.

“s a long time Denver Bronco season ticket holder my advice is score early and often ... it would be nice if Tebow’s receivers started catching his passes early in the game, instead of in the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. Brady will put points on the board, get too far behind with him and you’re not going to catch up before the game clock runs out ... guaranteed.”

Yep, Fox’s strategy of “not losing” and “waiting to capitalize on the other team’s mistakes” while punting 20 times after 20 three-and-outs and scoring no points in the first three quarters isn’t going to work against New England. But Fox has seemed pretty savvy lately, so maybe he’ll adjust his game plan to actually try to score some points before overtime this next game.

well the Broncos have rather slim prospects against the Patriots, but as the saying goes .... “any given Sunday” almost anything can happen

Well keep in mind it is a home game for the Broncos. Their home field was once an incredible advantage back in the day. NE Much better at home than on the road. NE Defense not good and Bronco defense is good. Not a long shot at all.
