BTW, I can think of only two aircraft types that can reliably get in the neighborhood of FL700, and both are much smaller than a 747.
I would have that payload laced with thermite and tied to an accelerometer.
If you lose the link and it crashes..POW! The thermite goes off like an firey airbag.
If you have the link and its an unsteady landing you shut off the accelerometer to provide for maximum recovery of the assets.

‘Q” is the original designation for a drone aircraft. I believe it derives from the aircraft regarded as the starting point for modern unmanned aircraft, the British ‘Queen Bee’ of the ‘20’s. As another tribute, when the US Navy began producing UAV’s they were designated ‘drones’ (Queen bee, drones, get it?) and the name stuck for all services.
BTW, I believe that the “R” stands for Reconnaissance, whereas the “M” (MQ-9 Predator) stands for Military.

Perry had many great moments but the dressing down he gave Obama on the loss of the drone got the largest applause of the night.
The 9-9-9 thing was not good. But for me — and I’m supporting Newt at this point — she had the best statement of the night when she went after the Palestinian Authority for the content of their textbooks. She pushed that statement hard, to the point where both Snufflupugus and Whatshername tried to talk over her and shut her up, as if they didn’t want viewers to hear what she was saying. But making the point that you can’t expect peace when that kind of hatred is part of the indoctrination was simply great.
Michelle was good on that matter.
