Rosie and Joy....NEWSFLASH....my daughter’s elementary school assigned two students from each class to wash down the lunch tables after themselves before the next class came in to use them. I wasn’t happy about it, but that was the case. They were expected to clean up after themselves. It’s not child labor to do some seemingly janitorial chores in a school setting. Should they not empty the classroom wastebaskets and clean the blackboards at the end of the day? Not a thing wrong with that at all. Seems leftist children must all have nannies and maids to pick up after them. Doesn’t happen in real life. I recall having to scrub my own desk to the teacher’s specifications at the end of a school year. Yeah, child labor. We did it and were happy to help. Taught us a lot.
