I heard exactly one Fast & Furious story on ABC Radio News yesterday - and it featured a democrat quote that the hearings were ‘politically motivated’.
I still think it'd be a good idea to start with the henchmen in civil service jobs. The Pendleton Act and its various amendments over time do not protect them from impeachment ~ just from being fired by the Executive without cause.
Congress is NOT the Executive, and I think some low level impeachment hearings would LOOSEN TONGUES ~ as they destroy the careers and credit worthiness of the targeted employees.
The Democrats are as always shameful.

Fifty per cent of Mexico’s population has already entered the US with no plans to go back home. I guess they’re trying to get away from all those illegal US guns. They say two hundred and fifty Mexicans have already been murdered by drug cartel members using those guns, not to mention the murder of Border Agent Terry.
Holder says he finally contacted the Terry family and tendered his condolences. Meanwhile Michelle is packing her mumuu for Hawaii, and Holder figures if he just sits tight, all this fast and furious stuff will go away. Here’s a nightmare scenario: what if one of those guns is identified as having been the one that fired at the WH recently. I can see the headlines now, we’re all to blame and there goes the second amendment. (Obama did say he was working under the radar to get rid of it. He’s also said individual liberty is an outmoded idea we can’t afford.)

Obaba and the Dems will lie without shame to cover their actions. With these people only investigative methods used for criminal gangs (wire tapping, lie detectors, and “enhanced interrogative” methods, etc) will produce accurate results and convictions.
