Ohio voted on March 7th that year (super tuesday) while this year Ohio votes 2nd to last.

this is for a March ballot. Ohio will hold it’s primary in une. The actual registration date is in March. By that time we will know if he even needs to register.

This year it is not winner-take-all delagates in each state. It is proportioal to % vote received in each state. So Newt getting 0 delegates from a few states would be crucial.
