When Father Mulcahy was passed over for promotion, Colonel Potter made a phone call to the senior chaplain. While the phone was ringing, Sherm said, "The man answers his own phone. Must be a Unitarian."
I still use that line. Rest in peace, Harry.

We have the entire M*A*S*H series on DVD, and have been re-watching some of them in the last week or so, too. Watch the early episode where he played a senile general - this was BEFORE Maclean Stevenson left ...
He was a HOOT as a demented old geezer in that episode ...

Cobb, Carolyn Jones, Robert Preston, Eli Wallach, John Wayne, Andy Devine, Raymond Massey, Agnes Morehead, Russ Tamblyn, Harry Dean Stanton, Lee Van Cleef, and last [but not least] Stanley Livingston [Chip on My Three Sons] ...
Thats all I can remember - you might be able to tell that HTWWW is my FAVORITE movie of all time ...
