My muzzie neighbors are afraid of my dogs.
Probably makes us even since I worry about getting decapitated when they decide to go 9th century on us infidels.
Furry early warning systems...gotta love them!
Mine never trusted anyone that didn't treat animals with respect. Even if they are hunting them. Sometimes people are the real animals. In most cases I agree and in this case, I wholeheartedly agree.
I’m not a dog owner, but they could have shot these two b*stards and dumped them on the side of the road somewhere, for all I care. They haven’t suffered enough...
they'll make bubba a nice catchers mitt in prison.
I remember it distinctly and the perps had been arrested. In fact, I even found the address of one of the perps and sent him a letter along with his posted picture........
A year or so ago Luttrell was a scheduled guest speaker at an NRA convention somewhere on the east coast, NY I think, and the night before he was to speak, he punched out an obnoxious drunk Brit in a bar and spent the night in jail........
Ya know, I have similar feelings. I just get tired of people who feel the need to parse words in an effort to exhibit their own self perceived mastery of the English language.......I DON'T fall for it.
In fact, I find it repulsive, elitist and inconducive to holding a legitimate discussion on a thread such as this.
Most of us here are just average "joe's" and if speaking from our hearts we use terms such as "murder" when we are talking about an individuals dog, please forgive us for our ignorance.......
Arson is a property crime and it is usually prosecuted and punished vigorously because it too is a despicable act (destroying what someone may have spent a lifetime buying while endangering others). I would probably put beating something to death in the same category.
Beating anything to death is not something a reasonable society should tolerate, so society gets to choose what punishment is appropriate.
The law should not be based on emotions, but on reason, otherwise you no longer have a government of law. What if it wasn't a cute little puppy that was beaten to death but the ugliest, mangy old dog in the world? Would people be calling it murder then? If not, why not?
You’re forgiven.
I’d post their bail and apply justice myself.
Don’t push it, SEOWULF. You’ll lose. If you don’t like dogs, then go to a forum of dog-haters.

I like dogs just fine, but they’re not people.
Killing a combat dog companion who trained with his soldier, slept with his soldier, and saw combat with his soldier is beyond “killing property.” It is arguably murder. Notwithstanding your pointless contrarian pedantic statement.

Yeah but only after a few years of being the boy toys for some huge Bull Qu**r inmate. ;-)

Semper Fi! Sir.
BTW are you familiar with the USMC Horse named SSGT Reckless that heroically served in the Korean Conflict?

The story I read on FR was that he had them in his sights, too. All lined up, ready to pop. That sort of restraint is a real testament to the self-control of a very dangerous human being. I'd have helped him bury the bodies. Happily.
The more people I meet, the more I love my dog.
Thank God for that!
People routinely cheat, lie, murder, maim, and rip ya off, any way possible.
Just out of curiosity—what’s your religious affiliation?
