For some reason christie reminds me of Taft. And taffy. His cred is doing what had to be done to the public unions. Pretty much every other state will have to do the same thing. He was just first in attempting to balance the state checkbook where it had to be done. Had nothing to do with conservatism.

Furthest thing from it and I actually think that is a strong point for Christie. Prime failure mode is the Second Amendment, IMO. Any politician that doesn't get that right is dead to me.

I had forgotten about this. Makes me hate Mitt even more than I had. There is also the story about his lame excuse about why none of his sons were in the military even though Mitt was gung-ho on sending other people’s kids to war. He said his sons were doing their bit by working on his campaign. Mitt is a puke.
