Exactly what allegedly pro-life laws did he sign?

Huntsman would CRUSH Obama in the general.

Based on what positions on what issues?

I think the term your looking for is "Clientitis", its actually a pretty serious problem at the state department (and this isn't even referring to Huntsman). This is an issue that presidents from both parties going back decades have had.

Its when someone from our government, goes overseas, and essentially "goes native", you start to view the host country as though they are your "client" or employer. The other situation you are referring to is "regulator capture", its when the regulator winds up on the side of the industry they are supposed to be regulating, and often joins that said industry.

That said, I support free trade, but I feel for you, there isn't a single GOP candidate running that isn't pro-free trade. Also, I'm not a fan of Huntsman.

Huntsman can win and win big....and he happens to be as conservative as anyone in the field, with the possible exception of Michele Bachmann.

1) He calls himself "center-right", he's embracing being the "moderate" here.

2) Maybe he could crush Obama in the general, but at this point so could Hillary Clinton, and we sure as hell don't want her either.

Bizarre fact: Him and Perry are actually close friends.

Also, pro-homosexual “rights” and very suspect on military issues. And just how intensely would he take the fight to his former boss?

No thanks.

Please don’t post from the Politico. They are not to be trusted. You might as well post from the NY Slimes

I would encourage those looking for a good conservative to support to consider giving a look to Huntsman.

I would encourge those looking for a craven, clueless fool and MSM butt kisser, that swallows the man-made, catastrophic, global warming BS hook line and sinker to support to consider giving a look to Huntsman.

Huntsman supports a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe v. Wade

“I sign the bill that would trigger the ban on abortion in Utah if Roe v. Wade were overturned”
June 3, 2011, The Faith And Freedom Coalition Conference, Washington D.C

“I do support a right to life amendment”
Jun 08, 2011, Radio Interview with Hugh Hewitt

“Governor Huntsman supports a federal amendment that would ensure legal protections for the unborn… He’s proud of his record in Utah and will continue to advocate for life on a national level.”
August 20, 2011, Tim Miller, spokesman for Huntsman

Parental notification

“I signed the bill requiring parental permission for an abortion”
June 3, 2011, The Faith And Freedom Coalition Conference, Washington D.C

Embryonic stem cell research

Huntsman supports stem cell research, but not embryonic cells.

“Jon Huntsman is a passionate supporter of stem cell research which is leading to new discoveries that will improve and lengthen the lives of many Americans… He supports federal funding for lines that have a demonstrated history of success — adult stem cells, non-embryonic stem-cells and certain types of embryonic stem cell research. Gov. Huntsman opposes federal funding for new lines that would do harm to embryos”
