Paul proves his superiority to Newt yet again as a champion of free markets and critic of crony capitalism.

Until he hears the words 'wild shrimp' - and then he loses it. And I ain't no Newt fan, but I am absolutely not a RuPaul fan.

Nah. Here's the proof of LRon's "superiority" ....

LRon Paul says that he would nominate Kucinich to his cabinet and ask Nader to come together on a progressive-libertarian agenda.

Definitely a regional issue, if you are on the receiving end.

Why is this a surprise? Why anybody would expect any thing different from RINO Newt who is a lifelong politician with zero experience running a real world business? Newt believes the government is the solution to our problems, via subsidies to selected groups.

Last time I listened to Newt answer question on man made global warming, he said “It is an open question”. In political speak what does that mean?

On illegals flooding the country, Newt wants to set up boards in every state who will decide who stays and who goes. Another example of Newt’s core belief that problems can be solved by government.

Newt has partnered with Sharpton on government supervised education programs.

Newt has partnered with Hillary on government controlled health initiatives including mandates.

Whatever happened to “We the people”? Whatever happened to Reagan’s famous quote “Government is not the solution, government is the problem”.

It is amazing how many people think all we need is a good debater against Obama and life will be just peachy. Well, there will be 2 or 3 debates with Obama lasting 3 to 5 hours. Does any one have an idea how many hours of TV commercials a Billion dollars will buy?

Well, I guess that's it, then. Newt wins the Iowa Republican caucuses (cauci?).

Notice that Obummer likes the ethanol subsidy as well.

Since about half of Iowans are dummycrats, the general election will go to Obummer by default.

And if you read the poll, Rick Perry got a D, F, F in the fuels category...another reason he’s to be preferred over our new “front-runner,” Gingrich.

"Well, there will be 2 or 3 debates with Obama lasting 3 to 5 hours."

Your optimism seems to know no bounds.

Obama will not "debate" anybody, let alone Newt.

If they do have a joint TV opportunity, The questions will all be softball, the moderator will be a liberal, and the time will be only about an hour, with time out for commercial breaks.

>>Last time I listened to Newt answer question on man made global warming, he said “It is an open question”. In political speak what does that mean?<<

It means he’s not as smart as he thinks he is...or alternatively, he sees a lot more “opportunity” on the global warming side (where all the bucks are flowing) than on the skeptical side (probably the more likely answer.)

Oh and that 3 to 5 hours was TOTAL time for all debates. Each debate will be just as you described.

Ron Paul would only appoint them to carry out policies that are consistent with his pro-liberty agenda. He wouldn’t appoint either to positions which might undermine that agenda. Nothing special there. For the same reason, Reagan and Bush appointed pro-New Dealer welfare-statists to key foreign policy positions (who agreed with their foreign policy).

Look at the article for the rankings. Only Cain scored perfectly. Across the board Fs on supporting big Farm and across the board As on opposing big regulators. Ron Paul drew some amazing Cs - when was he ever moderate on anything! Newt was not only failed with straight All subsidies for big Farm he was to the left of Mitt and even Obama on that. Newt is the more dangerous RHINO. He’s a true believer, like Obama, on his big government ways and, like Obama, has an ego too big listen to any contrary truth. We could flip-flop Mitt to the right on some issues if we can just manage to whine louder than the left. Newt won’t budge. We need to elect an anti-big government zealot this year and on this issue there is a clear leader.

Let the critiques continue. Let all the positions the candidates favor, disfavor be made known. Then we can decide on who will inherit the nightmare scene that is befalling this nation. Perhaps by the time it is time to pull the levers no Republicans or conservative oriented Independents will show up at the polling places.
