One of my early childhood memories is of sitting around Grandma’s kitchen table, kneading the coloring packets (included with the 1# margarine) into the oleo....

I was just thinking that when I was a kid growing up in the 50s, I was the only member of our family who preferred Oleo to butter.
For at least thirty years, I have preferred butter. I guess ones taste just changes.

Margarine or butter?
There is no argument. Butter. The only way it gets better than that is bacon grease.

The Gov't always likes to control stuff. Always has, always will. What is happening today is nothing new just looking back through history.

There is no power enumerated in the Constitution for the federal government to control either food or drugs. That is a state power.
I wish we had a constitutional government.

It’s my understanding that margarine is one chemical away from being plastic. I prefer butter.

When I was a little kid colored Oleo was illegal in Wisconsin. Without food coloring margarine is pure white and pretty unappetizing.

And when oleo was colored to make it fit the supposed color of butter, butter packages included little dye capsules to color it like oleo.
Why anyone would eat margarine when was butter was available....well, I won’t.

The government should not decide this, people should.
And this person uses butter.

BUTTER !!!
Margarine is a soft plastic that messes with a host of metabolic processes —
It ends up hurting what it is supposed to help: heart health.
