He is purposely circumventing the question so that he won’t be nailed down unfairly like he was on the in state tuition thing.
He is also laying ground to the notion that we never would have even had to deal with in state tuition if the borders were secure and the federal Gov did not force Texas to educate these illegals k-12.
Secure the borders and then we will look at programs.
Gin is his juice of choice is it?
LOL. I can tell she doesn’t like Perry.
He did well. He seems very comfortable just being himself. I like that about him.
You know the law passed by a margin that Perry could not veto, and you know that the Texas legislature was trying to deal with a problem that the Federal government forced on us.
So knock off the lying BS.
Yes. He and the American People are against amnesty. We need to listen to the American People regarding the 11 million illegals that are already here. But, he is right. We have to secure the border first. That is when Gretta kept interrupting him. If the border is not secure then the the talk is just that.. Talk. Secure the border! That is what he was trying to say and Gretta kept Interrupting. (Of course I was paraphrasing)
It’s a lousy joke. LoL
She is tough on everyone. Perry did fine.
Meanwhile... Ol Herb Cain has cancelled any interviews.
Seems he don’t feel like talking.
Looks like water, so you can carry it around in your water bottle, perry. Is slick about that stuff. Ha, “Harper valley PTA” Shirley Thompson was a friend of his.
see my life’s post no 21
Cain lost a NH endorsement today. Wonder if he needs gin or Ginger?
“Perry is right on about immigration. He wants the American Peoples input regarding the 11 million illegals that are already here as it is obvious he and the American People do not want amnesty..... :-)”

If he wants my input then here it is: ..... Hey Perry.... ADIOS MOFO!!! You’re done.
Google “ADIOS MOFO”... It’s a pretty funny story...
I can’t believe that not one of the candidates brought up the “attrition through enforcement” plan promoted by NumbersUSA.com, an organization dedicated to lower overall immigration levels. Regarding the 11 million people here illegally and what to do with them, if current immigration laws are enforced, i.e. no work if not eligible, no public benefits for illegals, no in-state tuition, no driver’s licenses, no matricula consular cards, no home loans, zero tolerance for criminals, then people here illegally will deport themselves and take their kids with them. Seems fair to me.
Are we a country or a campground for the world?
No. He’s not done. But Cain lost a NH endorsement today. I wonder why? Too early to be losing endorsements.
I wonder where Cain’s supporters will go to next after he is out of the race. Perry is the best qualified, but so many FReepers have such a blind hatred for him - they say because of the illegal immigration issue - but they don’t have a problem with Gingrich’s views on it.
Rehearsed, choreographed concocted and controlled TV interviews?
How profound!
Much of the problem is that we are prevented by Federal laws to do anything about many of the things you listed.
For instance, the Federal Gov forces us to provide healthcare and education K-12
Attrition through enforcement makes perfect sense. This is what Perry is heading towards when he says nothing can be done until the border is secure and he would accomplish that in his first twelve months as POTUS.
I’d like to hear him express it in the terms you posted.
I would not count Cain out.
But you are correct about the HATRED for Perry.
I find it puzzling, since Newt actually proposes Amnesty and he skyrockets in the polls.
