Frank has been one of the most destructive people in congress. His absence alone will be a massive improvement. The only better news he could offer would be, ‘retiring, effective immediately’.

Otoh, it’s not too late to pursue him for his role in the Freddie/Fannie catastrophe. Let’s hope that happens too; he needs a pitbull special prosecutor hounding him till the day he takes his place in the federal pen. Short of that, his getting out of congress is probably as good as it gets.
