Cain is so gaffe-prone he does remind me a bit of Biden, but from Romney’s perspective I don’t think Cain adds anything to the ticket.

Then you don't know your Mormon history. Romney will need a black man on the ticket to diffuse some the inevitable criticism that will come with the revelation that the Mormon Church for over 100 years refused to allow black men to receive the Mormon priesthood. The MSM is chomping at the bit to "discover" the racist history of the LDS Church.

I, like 99.9% of the rest of the United States, couldn’t care less about Romney trying to counter whatever arcane Mormon belief this purports to fix. No one, other than Bible-belt Conservatives, are going to attack him on his religion and that particular fringe is not going to be appeased by him having a black man as VP. Moderates and independents couldn’t care less either.

Our borders and immigration laws weren’t respected so we are just supposed to say oh,well,it’s a done deal now,we can’t deport them?

No. Not right.

IMHO free enterprise and capitalism hae been replaced by crony capitalism / corporatism / fascism.

I could not agree more. The USA is being turned into a Russian oligarch like nation while the masses are turned against each other. Support for illegal immigration is an example of the few elitists (both Parties) shafting the many so they alone can profit and screw the public at large.

Okay....let's just say you were born 18 yrs ago. And your parents were from Chile...who illegally moved here 17 yrs ago.

Your family and you are illegally here in the U.S.A.

And you speak fluent English after being here 17 yrs, and very little of your parents language...and are totally "Americanized"...

What should we "do" to you?

Our Constitutional Republic, our laws, our language, our traditions, our moral values have no price tag. Not 5K,not any amount of money. Illegal aliens are not supposed to get any welfare benefits now, correct?

Maybe they can in some places in our nation. In my state they can get in state college tuition, for example. How cheaply and disgustingly we have been sold out. Look up MeCha and Reconquista movements. And some of the people in our country vote for politicians who will continue to pander to these groups. It makes me sick every time I see candidates for political office or already elected politicians having special meetings with these special ethnic groups.

When will they have Polish,French Canadian,Irish,Italian,German,Russian,Norweigan,Japanese,Portuguese,English and so on,special, specific, pandering meetings for all of those and more ethnic groups?

Oh. Wait. Ted Kennedy met the illegals, most of whom are Hispanic and “coming out of the shadows” in 2006 by looking out over one of their big protest mobs and saying that he was ‘looking at the new face of America’.

So I guess the rest of us don’t matter any more. Some Communist agitated ( I believe that) illegal alien Mexican peasant is more important than American citizens now.

If you are 18 years old, have lived here for 17 years, speak English, you and your parents forced the American people to pay for your education and possibly your medical and food, and don’t have the character to go back to your country of origin now that you are majority age,you are not “Americanized” and have no true love or understanding of and for our country, our laws or us,the American people.

Cut you and your parents off any welfare or other taxpayer benefits you all have gotten or continue to get.

You,your illegal alien parents and the government of your country of origin should pay reparations to every American citizen who could have gotten a job that one of you took, and that had to pay for all of your and your families benefits to the detriment of their own.

We the American people should be compensated for our losses caused by you and other people here illegally.

Deport you and your family with no chance of ever having citizenship here.

The true question,Osage Orange, is what do they, the illegals and their enablers in our government,do to us,the American people?

I think that he [CAIN] has made it CLEAR that his position is to enforce the laws that we have, which means deporting them.

LOL!

Hey Bob:

Looks like your buddy Cain just jumped the shark.

Yep, Bob, it appears Herman has found a new state authority to grant citizenship on a state by state basis.

I guess that I miss the point (at least from what I read). Cain didn’t say anything about deporting either way. He simply said that he would apply the laws as written.

“Yep, Bob, it appears Herman has found a new state authority to grant citizenship on a state by state basis.”

It doesn’t exist...so what he said, or didn’t say, doesn’t matter. Amnesty is ONLY something that can be done at the federal level.

You know that. I know that. Xzins knows that. Anyone with any knowledge of the Constitution knows that.

Apparently Cain doesn't know that.

That’s fine, he’s got plenty of time to work on it. I’d rather have someone who’s ok with the laws that we have today, rather than someone that wants to change them, so as to LEGALIZE millions of illegals.

I actually wouldn’t mind someone giving Santorum a test drive. Maybe they’ll go there.

He's obviously not OK with the laws we have today. He just threw the U.S. Constitution under the bus.

But, hey, who cares? It's not like it controls citizenship and naturalization process/immigration or anything like that. And it's just an old piece of paper. Coupla hundred years old. /sarc.

Actually, I think Newt’s more interested in throwing the Constitution under the bus, when he knows that the whole point of the Constitution is to establish the RULE OF LAW...while Newt’s ready to give millions and millions of lawbreakers a FREE PASS.
