We had enough saved so when our daughter finished college, she had a nice nest egg left in the account. She also helped by being a dorm councilor and part of her room and board was covered the last two years.
A few dozen people were at the local MacDonald's last night, but the AP didn't cover that as a problem. This article has nothing to do with OWS ... it has everything to do with "who" AP is.

When I was 9 years old, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were sent so far below the poverty line we thought it would be a nice place to get to and never took one dime of Government money while spending the next decade crawling out from under it, and this was in the 1980s!
At that age, I was happy just to get a new pair of shoes, picked berries in grade school and junior high before they changed the child labor laws and then worked full-time in high school flipping burgers. Then in college, I worked two jobs, sometimes three.
These parents really hack me off with what they are teaching their kids.
I swore I'd never go back "there" and so far have been successful at avoiding it. But with enough of these kids getting the idea they can just raid their neighbors, I fear I may end up back there after the horde is done pillaging me.
