I learned everything I need to know about Texas politics from a couple of Bushes.Many American/conservative/Republicans share that same view. With Perry's pro-ILLEGAL alien record he is not a serious contender.
There is, however, a small but vocal contingent of Perry supporters that ignore that reality. They even ignore the fact that Perry is polling at 3% and continue to tell us how wonderfully his campaign is going despite mountains of evidence to prove otherwise. They may be paid, maybe not, but their numbers are small as is Perry's support nationally.
Just how similar is Perry to Bush? You decide.

Since noone has voted in a single primary your conclusions are prermature and your insistence on calling Perry a loser is making you look even more foolish than usual. Your hero is polling at 3%. As a presidential candidate, that makes him a loser. Not to mention that 2 months ago Newt wasn't even registering in the polls he was down so low and today he's leading. And 2 weeks ago Cain was leading but he's now sinking like a rock! So go ahead an laugh. Your choice will be Perry or Romney in a couple of months and then Perry or Obama next November.

The Perry campaign is in the gutter -- literally. He has only one chance at making a comeback. He has to change his position(s) on ILLEGAL immigration, something he is not going to do. Even if he did most have seen him for the pro-ILLEGAL alien loser that he is and have soundly rejected him because of it.
When it comes to presidential politics Perry = Loser.
