There are plenty of Vietnam Vets on this forum who don’t think they fought for nothing. And I agree with them. We wouldn’t have lost nearly as many men, or the three million Cambodians and South Vietnamese who were slaughtered when we left, had it not been for the stateside useful idiot pawns of Soviet agitators and their campaign against the war. Soviet agitators who knew exactly what they were fighting for, I might add.
One: regarding a 3 a.m. phone call, potential life and death situation.
Two: on how he needs to learn to respond to questions in an interview or on the Podium, as in "I need to check with my advisers".
Well, you and I were talking about Life and Death.
For that he will have advisers.

Uh huh. Another imaginary boogeyman, like Islam. The only diabolical evil in the world is the U.S. (and Israel, of course).
Lemme guess... Ron Paul?
Obama could be the most competent person in the world and it wouldn’t change the effect of his policies one whit. The fault lies not in Obama’s managerial skills but in his ideology.
And you saw that in one of my posts, did you? lol
I think it was advancing islamism.
Very well said. Especially the Perry reference.
Night, me too time to sign off.
did not say that, if the USSR was so evil why did JFK plan on making the race to the moon a joint effort between us and them? Why was the U2 shot down just before the Paris talks when they were flying over 10,000 feet up beyond radar? Gary powers thinks his plan had been jimmed with by air force to cause the walk out in Paris. We can not right all the wrong in the world and it is not our job to do so.
Of course there will be advisers. and I hope he has sense enough to pick the right ones.
I wanted to give Cain the benefit of the doubt, but this newest video has diminished my thinking of him, his thought process is scary.
My suspicion, as well.
I'm pretty confident it had nothing to do with advancing America's national interests.
“”You’ll never know now will ya?””
Actually, yes I believe I would if I felt like it was in any sense worthwhile, which I don’t. Just about anyone who’s been a Freeper for any substantial amount of time leaves a trail of slime somewhat like a banana slug.
Your trail is your trail. Good luck with the vitriol. Just remember that it merely elongates the slime.
And, I’m definitely old enough to remember where I was when Kennedy died. Old enough to know the importance of proper spelling, old math, and respect for authority. Old enough to know when elitism is fighting a death-struggle with the agents of change within the Republican party. And old enough to know that history is not on the side of the elites.
Maybe you’re not that old.
Perry 2012!!!!
Keep wishing. It will NEVER happen. Maybe he needs to go to campaign school for awhile and then MAYBE come back and run.
Cain could be an fine stand-up comedian. He is witty and knows how to work a crowd. President? No.
I love how the media is pretty much ignoring Perry this week. It’s better he stays under the radar while the top bananas are slip-sliding around.
No, the EPA did not donate to Cain’s senatorial campaign in Georgia. An individual EPA employee (Spencer Nissen) donated to Cain’s campaign.
and it is listed EPA...he was out of Washington DC
