The SOBs running the government are nothing but lowlife thieving Outlaws and Gangsters. So forget the niceties of impeachment, arrest the entire bunch on sight. Throw them all in County Jails with the rest of the dregs of society.

They'll fit right in.

“one of the world’s richest men and a longtime Democratic Party donor.”

That’s impossible. The TV thing said that only Republicans are rich.

What the heck is a small pox drug? We have been given small pox shots since way back when, and they work.

As the article itself explains:

If there were an attack, the government could draw on $1 billion worth of smallpox vaccine it already owns to inoculate the entire U.S. population and quickly treat people exposed to the virus. The vaccine, which costs the government $3 per dose, can reliably prevent death when given within four days of exposure.

Instead of using the existing vaccine, H&HS proposes to buy 1.3 million (not billion) doses at a cost of $255 per dose.

This, my friends, is a payoff -- gold-plated corruption. And even the LA Times seems to recognize it.

Issa's committee -- or somebody -- has got to pick up the thread on this one.

Challenge the deal.

Make a big stink about it.

Compare it to Solyndra, et al.

Start an investigation.

Make Kathleen Sibelius cry.

Obviously, this is a payoff. Even the LA Times recognizes it. Another half-billion of taxpayer money (in reality, borrowed money) sluiced away into Democrat donor pockets.

The 'Pubbies can't remain silent on this. They have to go on the attack. Even if they can't stop it...the Senate will stand in the way...THEY NEED TO TRY.

Thanks austinaero.
...taken unusual steps to secure the contract for New York-based Siga Technologies Inc., whose controlling shareholder is billionaire Ronald O. Perelman, one of the world's richest men and a longtime Democratic Party donor.
The election was on Tuesday, duh!

America is deep in the hole because of never ending deals like this from corrupt connected money people that own our corrupted politicians.

If the USA had ethics this wouldn’t be discussed. There is only $$$$ not ethics.

Unfortunately we have a news media too that refuses to investigate these corrupt relationships. Everyone is connected except for the 300 million Americans that have less because we are the saps.

Ron Perelman of Hollywood notoriety and with mega $$$$ is obviously pulling strings and not strings that favor the USA.
