The point about Korea/vietnam parallels I am talking about that (and you can argue against it till the cow come home)but both you and Wuli need to understand is that nations can very easily get crushed under the weight of foreign powers fighting for dominance if they don't learn to stand up on their own feet, depend on themselves, keep competing foreign powers off their turf, build their own democratic institutions, strong stable political system, strong military and adopt good diplomacy. Its is a tough road. But on the other had Nations/Countries have been divided and destroyed because they tried to take the easy route and pick one side over other.

That is just play of words. A “right” is not the same thing as ability. The ability to harm (provided by American financial/military aid) is what differentiates Pakistan from Bangladesh which is also Islamic and poses no threat to India. Bangladeshis may have a “right”...just not the ability.
