The wind here was brutal today, nearly 70 mph. Driving the Toyota 4-runner with side winds was difficult. Like having Ky Bu behind you. Hope Wookie Breath finds some roadkill skunks to eat at Homestead or she will be in a bad mood, like when she catches zero smoking and eating ice cream again.
Why do you continue to live there?
Wind and snow is better than earthquakes.
North shore 90 footer.

I explained to a young friend, who was determined to hit the large waves on Mexico’s Pacific side, that it was like diving off of our building onto the street, then having the building fall on top of you.
And that was only for 20 footers. ;)
Snowed HARD here last night, then it warmed up and rained it all away!
That’s why I don’t body surf anymore since I dang near drownt once on vacation.. and it wasn’t even 5 foot waves. :-)
90 Feet? ouch.
Ping to the pre-race show and race ..

Lap-by-Lap: Phoenix

2 p.m. ET — The pre-race show on ESPN is under way. The track is dry, the sun is trying to break through the last remaining clouds and we’re on schedule for a 3:18 p.m. ET start at Phoenix International Raceway. (And there’s perhaps one or two spotty showers to the south that could cause trouble.)
8:44 a.m. ET — It’s an early morning here, but it’s looking like it might be a late night. The rain showers that were expected in Arizona have taken hold, and it appears to be at least a 30 percent chance of rain through 8 p.m. ET. There are lights at Phoenix International Raceway, so I’m sure NASCAR will wait it out as long as possible to get the Kobalt Tools 500 in Sunday. Matt Kenseth won his third pole of the season and will lead the field to green next to A.J. Allmendinger. Tony Stewart starts eighth and Carl Edwards ninth in the penultimate Chase race of 2011. The green flag is set for 3:18 p.m. ET.
Mornin’ Norm
Where’s the breakfast bar? And my bloody Mary???

I should probably give grandson my last board instead of just loaning it to him. It tends to ride a little low in the water now anyway. :)
Breakfast was at the Elks Lodge, $6.00 and my son was my host. The kitchen crew and wait staff are all volunteers and no, Red Green was not on duty but thanks for asking about him.
STR is running:
SMoke
MM
Dinger
Bobby
Were you peeking at the dillo roster?
They have the same line-up! LOL
