I think these debates are overdone, and there are far too many of them. Basically, they are used by the Leftmedia to run down our candidates. Also, quick response to "gotcha" questions has little to do with ability to be a great President. The process makes slick sociopathic liars look good, which is why Romney is seen as doing well in the debates Good post, though I don't think age is a factor, unless something else is going on. Strom Thurmond and Byrd were way past their time. And, you might be right about the beginning stages of dementia. My husband, who is 72 years old, had the beginning stages of Alzheimer's in his early 60s, and he also had those "dead" moments, though he was very intelligent. I pray that is not the case with Perry.

Honestly, what is wrong with this guy? I watched this video, and then the one of his speech in N.H. Really, is he high?
Very odd behavior, to say the least.

You’re delusional. He certainly did do those things...I heard it and saw it with my own eyes.

Really, you go find the transcript and show me where he said that. He also never spent a cent on instate tuition for illegals. Find out where the money comes from for tuition, and find out aht the illegals PAY their tuition.

Here's where he says he regrets he said it:
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/09/28/8017837-perry-heartless-comment-on-immigration-was-inappropriate
"[I]f you say that we should not educate children who have come into our state for no other reason than they've been brought there by no fault of their own, I don't think you have a heart. We need to be educating these children, because they will become a drag on our society," Perry said.
Perry didn't back off his support for the underlying decision to support the in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants. Ironically, Perry defended it on the same terms Romney has explained his state's healthcare plan; Perry said it was "a state's sovereign right" to decide how best to deal with issues of benefits for illegal immigrants.
Why do you like Perry? Do tell. Try to be honest. What's the main reason you like Perry. Pretend your hooked up to a lie detector machine.
