***You have a weird pasture!***

Wild green onions grow everywhere here! Even the weed killers will not kill them out.

Your link is joke.

Your attitude and your posts are the reason people think conservatives are cranks.

I did some speaking at what we called the “geriatrics club”, a very cool set of elderly people at a Church in California. All of them take a Pile of pills every morning, except one couple takes vitamins instead of pharmaceuticals. Now sadly 10 years later most of them are gone, except the vitamin couple, they are 90+ and still going strong and still very active in church. He once told me he tried again and again to get them to take vitamins and wean themselves off of all the drugs to no avail.

Sometimes I suspect the focus on treating the symptoms instead of the problem is like a vampires fang in the pocket book.

For goodness sakes no matter what vitamins you take someone will tell you the pills are defective somehow.

Of course the solution will be to buy Brand X (its the old AmWay pyramid scheme even if its some other brand).

I drank raw milk once when i was 9

There's your problem.

I drank raw milk from my mother, then from cows until the age of 5, when my sister was born.

My parents, then being considerably more prosperous, fed her first formula, then store-bought pasteurized milk.

I have been relatively disease and allergy-free most of my life and she has had and continues to have numerous health problems.

Correlation is not causation.

People need to get a grip on that. I could say my sister’s eaten far “healthier” than I, but here she has Stage IV breast cancer - thanks to being the rare kind. (Of course, I also have numerous chronic problems which she never had, since the age of 35; before that I was in tip-top shape.)

“Your attitude and your posts are the reason people think conservatives are cranks.”

Actually, it might be pointed out that this *particular* “attitude” is EXTREMELY typical of liberals (although I’ve found no shortage of conservatives on this bandwagon).

I’m a big proponent of everything American Famer.

I farmed until some years back, I still have friends who farm, some in dairy, so I’m familiar, first hand, with how food is produced and handled, and many of the dangers that you scoff at.

From your own statements, and from my first hand experience, I know what a fool you are.

But, it’s your right to be a fool.

Ah, the ‘scientific’ approach I see.

How could I possibly dispute that?

Should I feel offended that you think I’m so stupid?

Please don’t make it personal. I very carefully phrased my posts to ensure I criticized your words, not you.

Oh, I think I see, it seems your sarcasm backfired on your and you offended yourself. Tough to be you...

When it comes to the question "are you going to believe what you see with your eyes or what a scientist tells me to believe", I go with the eyes every time.

So now you can think I am stupid and we are even. -grin-

No, you know what a fool you are.

The fact that you were an irresponsible “farmer” should in no way impugn real farmers.

The world did quite well with real, raw milk, for millenia; since pasteurization came along the western world’s people have had their general health destroyed. Never before have so many people poisoned themselves with so many ineffective but harmful drugs. The incidence of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes have increased eightfold.

Aha!

Just as I thought.

Step 1: Scare people with a dangerous crisis
Step 2: Suggest the solution is X
Step 3: Sell them AmWay’s version of X

Pathetic.

Wow - pasteurization is the source of most modern ailments.

Selling AmWay vitamins must be very lucrative.

Oldest one of ten . all of us grew up on raw milk, churned our own butter, ate breakfast cereal with real cream and made real ice cream in the summers. Strangely none of us died from it.
