I guess if one is looking for the inside the beltway DC hack, Newts the man.
The sooner we get rid of most of the long term inside the beltway hacks on both sides, the sooner this country will have a chance to survive. If not, we will end up like Greece.
I know all that, which is why I used “/S”.
His plan only becomes credible with support from major playuhs who are known for their word and ability to bring votes, in substantial numbers, so Newt can’t back out later.
If he can secure those he is credible and I’ll take him more seriously.
You realize that there are probably 100 people in the entire country who know who DeDe Scozzafava is? Newt admitted backing her was a mistake.... I believe he took local party leader’s advice on that. Get over it already. No one cares.
I won’t get over it and I won’t vote for him under any circumstance.
It’s not that he supported DeDe, it’s that he was/is tone death to the changing winds that blew through Hoffman’s run.
No.... Newt would support the “super-Committee” if he were an “establishment guy”. Newt is the most vocal critic of the whole super-committee idea. Newt is for replacing the EPA. Newt’s first executive order will be to eliminate all of the White House Czars. That sure doesn’t sound like an “establishment guy” to me.
This piece starts with a flawed premise, that Mel Martinez and Spencer Abraham are/were conservatives; and goes down hill from there.
I carried Newt’s water back in the 90’s, and he will have to “walk the walk” not just “talk the talk” to get back my support.
Nice try. You absolutely WILL vote for Newt Gingrich. Talk all the message board nonsense you want, but when Newt beats out Romney and is up against Obama, you will be cheering him on, and happily casting a vote for him in the general election.
You are absolutely correct. I would also vote for Willard over Obama. I would choose Newt over Willard, if those were my only choices but I don’t like either of them. Gingrich is too quick to work with the other side which is basically what is wrong with DC insider Republicans.
