“the fate of the six pirates were not immediately clear.”

They’re fish food.

The pirates fell into the sea. Oh, golly, we didn’t mean to do that!

Well, if Obama can do it with bin Ladin, then I guess fishermen can do it to Somali pirates.

Where’s the evidence?

Who really cares what happened to the pirates, as long as they didn’t make it to shore safely its all good.

You might appreciate this one:

The Somali pirates fell into the sea ... and the fate of the six pirates were not immediately clear.

Oopsie, they fell.

“The Somali pirates fell into the sea...”

Poetical. It’s like something out of Kipling!

“The Somali pirates fell into the sea, Tsay said, quoting the fishing boat owner, adding that details of the saga and the fate of the six pirates were not immediately clear.”

Someone has figured out how to handle the situation.

How do Russians unofficially handle this kind of thing after some Wodka, plenty of ammo, and plenty of free-time in the sunshine at sea?

Do NOT expect a fair fight or ANY decorum or restraint.

Do they use the Phalanx on them? Why, yesss...!

A great, raucous time!

Ship decks can be very slippery.

eight Filipinos

Don't know the circumstances, but a friend of mine who was a WWII vet told me about working with the "Huks" while stationed in the Philippines. They would slither out of camp at night with a knife between their teeth and come back the next morning with "Japanese ears" as a testament to their evening's work. They would cut the throat of one man in the foxhole and take his ear. The next morning the rest of those in the foxhole would realize they could have been like him. It was devastating to their morale.

Any way we could hire the Taiwanese navy to take out the rest of the Squatomalian pirates on jihad?

The Somali pirates fell into the sea, Tsay said, quoting the fishing boat owner

Boy, I'll bet they did. "Accidentally" hogtied and chained too, I would guess. Good riddance.

It's time for a blockade on the entire coastline of Somalia. Any boat leaving port to be instantly sunk, as well as all the other boats in the same port.

The Somali pirates fell into the sea

The deck must have been wet and they slipped. Wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to steal some heavy pieces of metal had had it tied to their necks when the slipped.

The Somali pirates fell into the sea

Of course the crew probably helped them to "fall". If more pirates "fell" into the sea there would be a lot less pirating going on.

That’s how you deal with the pirates. Throw them into the sea. Maybe make ‘em bleed a little to get the shark juices flowing.

Really, they just fell into the sea....We don’t know what happened to them after that...LOL...

This is why the Asians are kicking our arses in the West right now....they’re still a bit barbarous.

How do you think we won the west...by being nice?

We, as a people, better get back our edge or we are done.
