That was good.

Newt, Cain or Perry will be our candidate, and anyone of them WILL beat Zero.

We have along way to go yet, and I am getting sick and tired of FR folks running down any of these men. When one of these emerges to the top to run against Zero, why give the enemy fodder to use against that one in 2012?

That is just beyond my comprehension. Add to that, if this keeps up, I will be thinking of voteing in the primary against these ranters choice.

I hear ya. I am not looking for a Perfect person, THERE ARE NONE, and none are GOOD, as none of us are.

Its the political primary season! Par for the course. Ford and Reagan went at it tooth and nail in 76 and Reagan came away backing Ford at the convention. They still didn't like each other, however. So be it.

Btw, right now looks like Romney is the odds on favorite to win the nomination. God help us all.

I've been around for a long time. I don't remember the likes of what I am seeing between the Cain and Perry camps on FR. It appears that you may be correct in that Romney will be the candidate, if these two camps keeps trying to totally DESTROY the other.

The 2000 GOP primary season was very nasty between the Bush, McCain and Keyes camps on FR. 2008 was pretty rough too. There is no love between the Perry and Cain camps. At one time most FReepers placed tremendous value on candidates with actual conservative governing or legislative records. Finding the ideal candidate is easy when rhetoric is your ONLY criteria. Even neophytes get embraced.
