That settles it. NEWT was the source of the allegations!

Newt either is a decent fella or he is really Machiavellian. I’m going with the former.

LOL....classy move by Newt.
I know Newt has a lot of baggage and a history, but he’s become my second choice after Cain.
For fun, if I had to put them in order:
Cain
Newt
Santorum
Bachman
the rest

I’ll give him credit for standing up for Cain. Perry, OTOH, can stay in that damn 4% gutter with Rahm.

Newt and I go back to the early 1990â²s when he was Speaker of the House and he appointed me to the Kemp Commission on economic growth and tax reform, Cain said.
That’s right! I remember that now. He was on it along with Ken Blackwell.

Love the way they put friend in quotes. Ugh.

I don’t even want to mention the irrelevant Bachmann but I will.

That’s probably my order, with Newt and Herman switched—and Palin to the top if she reconsiders and jumps in.

I concur with the order - I would take Cain or Newt at the top of the ticket. With the other or Paul Ryan, Rubio, or Issa on the undercard.
Bachmann - Love her, but she is not ready for prime time.
Perry - lost me in a hurry.
The rest - please just go away.

That’s about my list too. But I’ve thought for a long time Newt is jockeying for position for Vice, or for whom HE would consider for Vice if he gets the top spot.
Out of all the candidates, Newt has the extensive statesman experience. My guess is he ends up on the ticket, no matter who gets the other spot and which spot it is.

Nice to see at least one other Republican with class. I have no clue what Bachmann or Sanatorium were trying to prove by piling on. Either of them had the chance to show some class and side with Cain. Not that they were contenders anyway, but they really made fools of themselves over this.

Its Newt for me, with Cain a close #2. I hope this thing with Cain blows over eventually, one way or another I hope we get to the bottom of things.
