***from the sudden October snowstorm***
I remember seeing ice and snow in mid September 1960 while living in NE New Mexico on the high plains.
I also remember reading of a snow storm that socked in NE NM back in the late 1800s. IN AUGUST!

...from a panel of the world's top climate scientists paints a wild future for a world already weary of weather catastrophes costing billions of dollars. The report says costs will rise and perhaps some locations will become "increasingly marginal as places to live." Scare stories have been pushed by these people for the last 25 years.
Can Warmists point to ONE PLACE that has become 'increasingly marginal" as a place to live? Or ONE island that's 'gone under'? Anything other than more scare stories with NOTHING to back them up? One scrap of proof?

On the east coast of the U.S., the “fall line” used to be the edge of the sea. (The fall line runs through Columbia, Raleigh, Richmond, etc.) Obviously, the sea has receded. On whom shall we blame this? There were no people, no cars, no factories, no machines.
We live on a thin layer of material floating on an immense ball of molten material. We have our ups-and-downs in the tiny little area of weather we live in, but cows farts are not worth worrying about...or most coal-fired plant emissions, for that matter.
If our “global warming/climate change” scientists would go downtown and clean up after the “occupiers,” they would make a more meaningful contribution.

(Thailand is now coping with massive flooding) Whu, wha .. Where? Come on - we all know there weren't any floods before the invention of the SUV... I'm surprised the term 'flood' even exists in the English language... it's such a new phenomenon.

Freakish weather disasters from the sudden October snowstormBS.
I grew up in Maine, October snow was common.
Mom and Dad grew up just outside NYC. They said October snowstorms were uncommon, but also unremarkable. "July" would have gotten their attention.
How stupid does the press think we are? Geez!

AND, while I’m on my soapbox.... In Maine, growing up, we needed to design Halloween Costumes that fit over snowsuits. That’ll tell you how common it is in the north.

Two flags: Google and AP “Science” writer.
Both indicative of mucho el-Bull-S...er...Bull-Obama.
And, of course, their statistical analysis wouldn’t pass stats 101 at any good university.

Agreed. The guy’s nothing but a propagandist. Someone ought to visit him with one of those coats with extra-long sleeves and haul him off to the Funny Farm where he belongs. If the AP had any integrity and journalistic self-respect left they’d fire him. But I suspect they’ll give him a pay raise instead.

BTW - Geology was once my major before I screwed up and went into journalism. :)
Anyway, the following sentence could fit under any type of weather in earth's history (i.e. it has never been a benign planet weather-wise):
“And global warming is likely to spawn more similar weather extremes at a huge cost, says a draft summary of an international climate report obtained by The Associated Press.”
How any scientist can say this with a straight face is beyond me. What - do they think the weather was tranquil at the height of the current ice age? (which we are still in albeit as a interglacial warm period.)

What, and not be like 99.9% of the other "unbiased" news outlets? Perish the thought.
