I saw Cain last night on Greta, he was absolutely forthcoming down to every detail.
Santorum has no chance and he needs to not mess up the republican party, especially by being inaccurate.

I don't see an issue with Rick saying this. Get this all out on the table. That is what vetting is and it is crucial in picking someone that can beat both Mittens and Obummer.
BTW, I was surprised to see that Santorum has any staff at all to make these statements from the condition of his campaign. Something tells me that this is probably what John Brabender the aid looked like.

He was so forthcoming, Mrs. Submareener said he was talking too much, but I said, “Let Herman be Herman!” His handling of this situation is sure giving us an look inside the hearts of folks who comment on it. Santorum’s aide did Rick no favor in that regard.

Santroumm the GOPbot Establishement and Karl Rove better buy a clue. They have everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Sean Hannity defending Cain.
REALLY stupid politic move by Santroum and the GOP machine on this one.

Conspiracy theory of the day.... Santorum puts this out there so everyone thinks his camp leaked the story. He does this to cover for Romney.... Rick has been running for the VP slot for a least three months...

Vetting a canidate does not include publishing every lying smear job that is whispered in your ear by Karl Rove and the GOPbot Establishement.

Note to Santroum camp.
Cain just had his best fund raising day ever yesterday. Everyone on the Right from Sean Hannity to Rush Limbaugh is defending him.
Santroum just demonstrated himself too politically stupid to be a serious candidate for President

Here is my problem with Cain on this. In the morning he says he knows nothing about this at all. That’s fine. Then he goes on Greta and explains the terms of the settlement as though he always knew what happened. He is not telling the truth in one of these two events over a single day and I would like to know why.
The charge by Polutico looks baseless, but the way Cain handled it concerns me. You don’t have a problem with this?

I haven’t read everything about this that’s out there because it seemed like a pretty stupid allegation. However, is it possible he was under a legal gag on this like the woman was? Im just asking because I’m not sure. If so, that may be why he didn’t feel he should be talking about it.

Well, after Iowa, we won't have Rick Santorum to kick around anymore.
And Mr. Brabender (is this really his name?) can go to work for Ron Paul.

Nice try. How about this. HOW about you express concern that Politico has NO details and when pressed has refused to divulge any additional information?
Cain was asked a question in the morning. He answered it in the morning based on what he knew off the top of his head. Later in the evening, when he had MORE time to look into the accusations, he had more details when asked again.
There is about 8 hours difference between the two interviews. He did not "change his story", he had more details when he had time to look into the facts of the matter and was asked the question again.

Im just asking because Im not sure. If so, that may be why he didnt feel he should be talking about it.That's my take, he wanted to clear it with his lawyer, before he could mention more about it. Sounds like he acted prudently to me.
