I used to live in Ohio. The state is an economic mess but kasich is doing his best to help. It would be great if Sherod Brown could be defeated. He comes across as a class A jerk.

Don't count out Issue 2 either. I think we on the YES side will pull a stunning upset.

I have to say, Brown doesn't even pretend to be conservative here at home. His wife has been a liberal flunkie for the Cleveland Plain Dealer for years, and he has always been a shameless liberal asshole, no questions asked. He beat the arrogant Dewine in 2006, not a great vote for progressivism, at that, since Dewine has degenerated into a rino over the years.

It is a source of great hope that Mandel, a solid candidate, is closing the gap.

Mandel has massive grass roots support, and a very strong team behind him. In last election, he received more votes for Treasury of Ohio State than Kasich received for Governor of Ohio. Mandel is very popular in OH.

He may look like he’s 14 years old, but he’s served two terms as a State Rep., and two tours in Iraq with the Marines.

You must be up by the lake. I never see a foot of snow more than twice a decade. It’s the lack of sun I complain about. It disappears in the Columbus area from November 1 - April 15. At least the sun shines in NE in the winter; not the case here.

I always like him. If everything goes well in 2012, and he becomes a US Senator, he might be a candidate for the first US President of Jewish descent. Perhaps in 2020 he’ll be part of the ticket? Or, if somehow 0bama won reelection, in 2016?
