Absolutely. Few things are less pleasant out of doors (aside from a grizzly wandering into camp) than a chill-you-to-bone icy rain. Even if you manage to stay dry, the damp just seeps into the bones after a while.

It's also ironically sad (sadly ironic?) that these same people will NEVER understand that they enable the very animals they now complain about with their 'money for nothing and kicks for free' attitude.
When it comes to cold-weather survival, these people are the very incarnation of the phrase "babes in the woods". "Tarps may not be enough..." Just yikes! They seem to be saying to themselves "well, it hasn't been so bad so far, I'm sure that spring is right around the corner".
Kamp Kumbaya is going to get an awful lot like Stalingrad in the winter of '42 real soon. Then the weak ones will start to leave and the "strong" ones will start to die.
And by March, we'll be inside our comfortable homes watching NCAA basketball, and will probably have forgotten all about these loafers and malcontents,
Complete with the local element coming in, taking their valuables, and misusing their women.
