A pair of abortion clinic workers pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree murder in two deaths at a Philadelphia clinic where seven babies were allegedly killed with scissors and a woman died from a drug overdose. Given that this "clinic" existed for the sole purpose of killing babies, I'm surprised that it was only seven.

The sentence is poorly written. What the writer is saying is that they plead guilty in two deaths and there were eight deaths (seven babies and one patient) at the clinic.
What’s sad is that those seven babies are the ones the DA can document. No doubt there were hundreds more.

Thgose seven ere the ones the DA could document. There would have been hundreds more given how long the clinic operated, but they can’t prove it in court.
If a jury and a judge believe the stuff in the indictment or anything approaching it happened, this guy will never see the outside of a prison again.

The people that did this should go straight to hell. If they do indeed end up there, their hell should be living those babies last moments over and over again! They should have to experience getting their spinal cords cut for all eternity.
On a side note, I thought that Roe vs. Wade was supposed to make abortion safe and legal.
