Geithner is the Secretary of the Treasury, not the chairman of the Fed.
I do think that Obama has been relentlessly focused on jobs - the jobs of groundskeepers, golf equipment manufacturers, and purveyors of fine junk food everywhere.
It’s just another example: Everything Zero touches turns into crap.
You got that right. Obama has attended only one Presidential Daily Briefing over the last 19 days. (Key Word: DAILY)
If he can't find the time to attend a daily briefing set up exclusively to keep him abreast of current matters, then how can we believe that he is concerned about anything having to do with his duties as President?
....now we are into a real two-for, a double header.
Lets watch him destroy the private sector and its jobs and then jack the debt astronomically......watch the per capita debt load trickle down.
.... and then project the impact and what is left of America.
Yeah, when he’s not on the stump spewing his passive-aggressive snark or holed up in the WH watching endless hours of reality game shows or ESPN on TV. btw, expect him to intervene soon in the NBA labor dispute; there’s no way he can survive missing an NBA season.
“Obama has been ‘relentlessly focused’ on jobs”
Just like OJ is relentlessly focused on searching for Nichole’s killer.
And by ‘relentlessly focused on jobs’ he means; giving government jobs to union thugs, tax cheats and Communists.
Oh, the Oval Office is focused on jobs, all right, but only if the job holder also has a union card.
Non-union need not apply.
Of course, not widely noted, but card-carrying union members make up a relatively small part of the non-government work force. Card-carrying public employees, on the other hand, have grown in numbers, of almost explosive expansion within the past decade.
