Even my rabidly liberal parents like Cain. Not a good sign for Obama.
To: Fred
Cain is not my pick even in this field, but I will gleefully support him over Romney.

When do we get to call the left racists for opposing Cain? When do we get to say that they only voted for Obama because he's not entirely black? Not that I condone that kind of thinking, but it's about time they get a taste of their own disgusting tactics.
To: toddausauras
I guess because if Cain is able to attract libs then he may have liberal tendencies also?????

Wow. I guess conservations really mean it when they say:
anyone but Obama---because it appears we're all too ready to trade one novice in the WH for another.
Even if his name is Herman Cain, we don't need to continue this mistake for another four years.

Why, because my parents may end up voting for him?The loonies are not exactly where the power lies and I hope the independents are ready to go with another no-record candidate despite what happened the last time.

Name recognition:
Romney - 88 (up from 80)
Gingrich - 87 (up from 75)
Perry - 85 (up from 78)
Bachmann - 83 (up from 75)
Paul - 80 (up from 75)
Cain - 78 (up from 58)
Cain still is giving up a 12.8 percent advantage to Romney. He’s narrowed the gap, but still hasn’t caught up yet. The gap was 38 percent at the end of August and is now 12.8 at the end of September.

All Romney ever had going for him was the veneer of “he’s the most electable.”
Once he loses that, he’s toast permanently.

I'm not convinced that Obama cannot win the election and Cain will need to rise to the occasion.

Well, we have some on FR coming awfully close to calling Cain a racist because he supports OZ that, because they are focused on economically depressed areas, by definition and happenstance of history will apply to a lot of areas that are majority black. (Thanks, Democrat Plantation owners.)
Yes, a few of our fellow freepers have gone so far as to claim the 999 plan is just "sloppy reparations."

Novice?
The guy has had a life filled with achievement, hard work and success piled on success.
The lawyers and professional politicians have had the past seventy or so years to run the country into the ground, and they've done a proper job of it.
Myself, I'm willing to listen to the “novice” and see what he comes up with.

...it appears we're all too ready to trade one novice in the WH for another...Are you insane?
Do you think they have a "President" school that hands out certificates or something?
Biden has more "experience" than anyone in the administration, and he's probably the only american politician that could run us into MORE potholes that Obama has.
