"NINE NINE NINE, HOLD THAT LINE ! , GOoooo OUR TEAM "....[/pom-poms]
They 'misunderestimate' us just like 2010. Not this time either---lets roll on with the Cain Train to Freedom.
Nor will it do anything to collect taxes from the almost $1 Trillion underground economy of Tax Cheats, Drug Dealers and other assorted Criminals.
I don't believe you have to feel that way.
Whatever kinks that there are in his tax proposals, it is wise to keep in mind that it is certain it will be run through the congressional pork grinder and probably not resemble its original form much at all.
In the end, the only way to keep taxes in line is to shrink the government and its spending. Reduce government and government power.
Mr. Cain sounds more in agreement with less government than the others. His overall value system seems more in tune with us than the others.
When I was in my mid 20s my father observed that if you are holding out for the perfect woman, plan on being single for the rest of your life.
No one arrives at the Oval Office completely prepared, trained and experienced. Our best Presidents have had the raw talents, but grew into the office.
IMO, at least at this point, Mr. Cain is a positive option, not the lesser of two evils as usually happens. We should hope that continues, because Mitt Romney is not an option. He may be prettier than the others, and does not appear to be a rabid America hater, but he is a died in the wool socialist elitist and will finish off this country.
Why did it take a full week to do this poll?
You know what I think? You need some perspective - this same outfits 2007 poll, done 10/17-10/24, in 2007 (another week?):
Mitt Romney 36.2%, Rudy Giuliani 13.1%, Mike Huckabee 12.8%, Fred Thompson 11.4%, John McCain 6.0%, Tom Tancredo 2.2%, Others 3.5%, Undecided 14.9%
Actual result:
Mike Huckabee 34.4%, Mitt Romney 25.2%, Fred Thompson 13.4%, John McCain 13.1%, Ron Paul 10%, Rudy Giuliani 3.5%, Duncan Hunter .4%
Same here.
The Kool-aid takes time to wear off I guess. But hopefully the GOP will sober up in time to take Obama on head-on.
“best chance to beat Obama.”
Um, Huntsman has no chance to beat anyone, at anything!, LOL!
Really, I have nothing against you in any way, but get real!
Huntsman has no chance at this nomination and should have gotten out of it a long time ago!
When he he *does* get out(a matter of time) consider who is the most conservative candidate likely to win.
He’s as authentically conservative as any of them. If a candidate with a flawless platform has no chance to win it is squarely the fault of the electorate.
But thanks for not holding it against me ! :)
And at least a candidate with the most room to grow isn’t losing his hype like Cain and Perry. Did I mention how great Jon is? lol
999 wont go anywhere, but it does start the discussion about revising the tax code. And he is the only one with a set of cahones to take the issue head on.
As near as I can tell, he is the only one brave enough to propose anything.
and your thinking who is going to win?
Yes, this is the ideal. I have the same passion as you about the evils of government taxation. I despise the parasites at all levels of government.
I have your fear of the parasite Congress taking Cain's 9-9-9 and screwing us. I did read up on Cain's plan and while I have fears, I do think it will help break the logjam of thinking and product dramatic reform.
Cain truly wants to get rid of the $400 billion plus compliance cost with the current system. I think of his plan as a start, not the end all.
I can't picture any other candidate that can move the ball forward on taxes.
Our Republic is in jeopardy and we must find a way to politically and financially destroy the parasite class that infests DC. I am thinking Cain has the best chance at this point.
No clue, but I like Newt baggage and all. Other presidents have been elected with more loaded bags than he has.
I thought Fred Thompson was a shill for McCain.
I wish I could believe you because I would love to have Cain as our nominee. But our "open primary" states (like Arizona) are going to give us Romney, I'm afraid. And when all the SHTF after Romney refuses to withdraw Obamacare and the costs set in, everything will be blamed on the Republicans. They've set us up quite nicely and the RINOs are going to sink us.
IT'S TIME TO GET ON THE CAIN TRAIN !!!
