I didn’t see the thread or the post(s) in question. I came to this thread to post a FReepathon graphic and LAZ pinged me to take a look at his “journalism”...lol.

That’s when I spotted your message to me, so then I got a hint that you were unhappy.

For my part, I’m trying to stay off the candidate threads for a while. Hard core supporters are not going to change their minds, -— no matter the facts, so I’d rather keep most of my opinions to myself for now and my friendships intact. The process will work itself out.

I met all five of our top candidates and all were very nice to me, including Romney, but I won’t vote for him under any circumstance.

I personally enjoy a good argument. Throwing someone out of the room for taking a very strong position against you is not my idea of freedom of speech or, more importantly, acting like a gentleman. If I say the moon is blue and argue strongly for that point does that mean I get shut down? The rules USED to be posted and I see they are removed since yesterday which said basically to watch your language and something about no racial slurs. Why is that warning now removed?

True freedom is being able to start your own club, where people can gather to discuss certain topics from a certain perspective, and the club owner sets the rules to attract the kinds of members that add value, and to remove those that detract from the purpose of the club.

We call do. You missed my point. There are Trolls whose sole purpose on FR is to pose as Conservatives in order to campaign for their candidate or cause, and to level ad hominem attacks, besmirch, and malign any opposing views or individuals, including candidates. It’s deceptive, and they deserve to be ZOTTED.

Furthermore, it’s JimRobs house. He calls the shots. If you don’t like the rules you’re free to leave. Finally, there are newbies and Trolls whom JimRob and the Admin Mods have allowed to remain on FR despite their liberal ideology.
