I really wish we could have a better defense of 9-9-9, then he needs to shift gears and point out the other things!
his stance on traditional marriage (he will support traditional marriage)
his stance on energy independence (he wants to drill, dig, and mine)
his stance on education (kill the DOE and give parents choice through vouchers)
his stance on abortion (he is completely pro-life)
There is more to the man than 9-9-9!! THAT is the email we all need to be getting.
Herman Cain. Because Black is the new Black.
If Cain manages to get the nomination, there will be no 999 plan when he goes against Obummer. The 9% sales tax is a stinker and no one wants it, including one of the authors of the 999 plan Stephen Moore. It will be 99 plan at best.
999 in 3 stages is a deal breaker for me. Sorry. I can’t support it nor can I support someone who makes it up as he goes along using sales techniques to sell what is not exceptable.
I am back taking another look at Bachmann. She does speak for me on many issues including cutting spending. Somehow in the tax brouhaha that has been shoved to the sidelines. It should be the #1 tax issue imho.
And while doing that...take a good, long look at those eyes of hers. They are, after all, windows into the soul.
Just take a good, long look.
I am for cutting spending definitely. I do believe the only way to get out of the mess we are in is to grow the economy.
We are too far gone to “save” our way out of the mess we are in. I repeat I am for cutting spending, but cutting spending alone will not cure our current ailment.
It would be good for the economy to outgrow(not by printing ore money) or outpace our current debt.
The only way for the economy to grow is to get Obama out and get someone business owners and (productive, not government)job creators can take a chance on to start hiring more people in those productive jobs.
According to this poll, only 10% care about the sales tax and less than 10% dislike the plan.

If you order one of those, match it with an order from his site. He needs the campaign money.
What 3 stages are you talking about???
Without the ability to consider one's actions and admit error...there is no human wisdom.
And Herman is wise!
The plan will be implemented in 3 stages. I don’t want to see a new revenue source for the parasites to pick our pockets with and risk their getting rid of the income tax down the road. Sorry. I do not trust them to do that. I also do not trust them to keep the sales tax at 9%.
People have to remember that this plan will also eliminate all deductions currently in place. Student loans, mortgages, etc. It also will not eliminate the excise taxes on gasoline, cigarettes and beer. I don’t want to pay $.40 more per gallon in commuting cost, or 9% more for tires and service of my vehicle; Nor another 9% on doctors, lawyers, dentists, internet, utilities, repairmen and other necessities.
When I look in Cain’s eyes, I see a salesman on top of his game. I’ve been around salesman all my life. I was married to one. I know when I’m being gamed.
I have never heard anyone talk about a plan being implemented in 3 stages. Please post a source.
A FOX internet poll? Come on. If we go by these as an indicator of reality, Ron Paul will win the Presidency by 97% of the vote.
I love Michele but her campaign is floundering. Polls have her in single digits and going downhill. Unfortunately, she stands little chance of being the one who prevents Mitt Romney from getting the Republican nomination.
The last thing this country needs is a President Romney. But there man who stands between Romney and our White House. Is 999 perfect? No. But Cain has momentum and he can defeat Romney. I'll give him that opportunity and go from there.
Cheers.
Actually, FOX is one of the groups of polls the Paulbots have not been able to spam.
Most of their polls until now they were leaning towards Romney and Perry.
I agree that Cain needs to add to his offense with ideas other than 9-9-9. A good energy development program, a new welfare reform program, and getting America back on track as the unquestioned super power of the world.
On a simpler note, Mr. Cain’s webpage needs to be compatible with browsers besides Explorer, and he needs a paypal option for donations.
With some of the primaries coming up in a few months, the Tea Party needs to be involved in promoting events. Work with them.
Herman Cain on the issues:

The reason they don’t have Paypal has to do with campaign finance laws. Cain and his attorney are super particular about staying within the guidelines and not doing anything that would appear questionable. I worked a table at an event and we did the campaign finance forms for everything we sold even down to $5 buttons :-)
Cain’s team has very strong grassroots organizations they work side by side with. Most of his speaking engagements are tea party events. The number of volunteers is some where between 100,000 and 200,000 nationwide.
Two places volunteers can connect is http://teamcain.hermancain.com and http://www.electcain.com/default.aspx The first one seems to be the most active once you join local groups and events.
